Tiny Desk Concerts

I can't get enough of NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts. Musicians from Andrew W.K. to Tom Jones perform a short set in the middle of the NPR studios. This week's performance by Otis Taylor was great:

"Taylor grew up in Denver. His mom had a ukulele, and one day, while playing around with the instrument, he broke a string and went to the local music shop to get it fixed. All of a sudden, I heard Mississippi John Hurt [and] country music; I never heard country music, banjos and guitars.

I walked into the store and psychologically never came out..."

Here's a few more of my favorite Tiny Desk Concerts:

Adele

Iron and Wine

Gogol Bordello

The Swell Season
